A collection of documents relating to various estates, 1888-1894, including seven dealing with the estate of Louis C. Hamersley. Some of these concern the claims of his widow, Lily, Duchess of Marlborough (later Lady William Beresford). The other estates represented are those of Frederick H. Grosz, Henry M. Silverman, and Acton Civill. Some documents are lithographed, others manuscript or typescript. There is also a letter to Jacob K. Lockman, one of Hamersley's executors, from Imogen S.
